About Us

We are a small workshop making coracles by hand from willow. To us a coracle is more than a boat: woven and covered by hand in the river pattern, it is light, it floats well and, cared for, it lasts. That is what our work is about.

We are glad to repair and to teach. Re-covering a coracle, or showing a learner how it is woven, is honest and satisfying work.

We build each coracle in its pattern. The willow, the pattern and the cover all matter. We advise and make what suits the river and the use, honestly and without fuss.
